Why is it so cheap?

Our surgery is not cheap. Your country's surgery might, on the other hand, be extremely expensive. That is usually contributed to skyrocketing malpractice insurance rates. This is European private medical care at its best and many of our private hospitals and clinics are of a higher standard than where you live.


I have looked through the site and I wish to book a procedure. What is the next step?

Click the Request Quote link on the top right of the website then we do all the rest as quickly as possible. Our staff will check if you are a suitable candidate for your chosen procedure and address any questions or concerns. Then we will check on availability for the dates you have requested and any special needs you will have. We will check on your accommodation selection, or we will make a recommendation based on your circumstances and expected recovery time. We will check your tour and travel requests. We will then quote you an all inclusive package price valid for a specified time. If you accept our quote, we will require a deposit to secure your bookings and we will arrange for collection any medical documentation your surgeon requests.


What if i want more information on the Specialists you have listed?

Therapevo will select the best available surgeon specific to your procedure, the dates you wish to visit and the location you wish to travel to. Some procedures are only available in certain locations and we will inform you if that is the case.


Can I trust the physicians that will attend me?

Therapevo only works with the best physicians of the country. They are subjected to a very strict recruitment process based on professional background. The patient may consult the CV of the physician that will attend him/her. If you wish to see the list of professionals according to specialization, visit our Medical Department section.


How will I be able to communicate with the physicians?

All of our cooperating doctors speak English. Should you require another language Therapevo is able to offer bilingual assistance. One of our assistants will accompany you to every medical consultation and to the clinic on the day of the treatment. The assistant will be your personal interpreter and, at the same time, will answer all your questions regarding medical treatments.
The assistants we provide are not exclusive, they are assigned according to the availability, that is, one assistant may receive you at the airport whereas another will go with you to the medical consultation.


What about follow up care?

Therapevo has physicians who are on call 24/7. We also have registered nurses for recovery after more serious operations. You will never be at a loss for follow-up care. Our Specialists and Surgeons will correspond with your doctors back home should your case require it. Most Cosmetic Procedures require no follow up care at all. When you leave after 10 or 14 days you're ready for home. Our staff will make sure you are in condition to travel before you leave.


What about my photos and x-rays?

Therapevo can arrange a courier service to collect all necessary documentation, which the Specialists need in order to determine a course of treatment, and sometimes to assess your suitability for a procedure prior to your arrival. You will meet with your chosen or referred Specialist before any procedure or surgery takes place. You may be asked to submit photographs of yourself, medical reports, test reports, dental xrays and dental models at the request of our staff.


What if I must postpone my trip due to personal reasons?

If the patient must postpone the trip due to personal reasons after the deposit was made (30% of the package's total cost), he/she may ask to reschedule. Therapevo will stick to the original price for 3 months after the date in which the trip was postponed, but once that period expires, the package's price could be changed. What if in the pre-surgical consultation the physician resolves that I cannot undergo the treatment?

We recommend asking all your questions before the trip. If you suffer from any diseases such as diabetes, cardiopathies or high blood pressure, that will call for special cares in order to carry out the procedure MAKE SURE TO INFORM US BEFORE YOUR TRIP.

What if I decide to leave earlier than recommended?

The physician decides the minimum time that the patient will need to stay in order to recover favorably. Therapevo will not be held responsible for the decisions made solely by the patient.
